The Escort Bible to the cathedral city of Bury St Edmunds
An archeological dig in 2010 uncovered Bury St Edmunds Bronze Age origins. They also found Roman artefacts. The city was a royal borough with the Saxons and bought its title resulting from it becoming the burial area of King Edmund The Martyr, who was killed via the Danes in 869.
